OPENSUITE™ Integration Architecture

The OPENSUITE™ Integration Architecture was designed to empower developers by enabling them to connect multiple open source applications into an enterprise virtual suite, and to create new business processes and functionality using a proven integration methodology. Using open source components, the OPENSUITE™ Integration Architecture leverages SOA best practices to create a pluggable environment:

Selection of Business Applications – We offer a new paradigm in the application selection process that allows businesses to select best-of-breed and best-fit open source applications without concern for compatibility.

Elimination of Redundancies - Independently developed open source applications often contain duplicate functions; the process of integrating such applications provides an opportunity to eliminate redundancies and standardize on best-fit application features, based on individual business needs.

Creating Application Connectors - Some applications may be OPENSUITE™ Certified, while others may require small amounts of additional code to operate seamlessly with OPENSUITE™ Core Services and to be integrated into the OPENSUITE™ Workspace environment.

Creating Integration Functions - While Process Functions are application specific, OPENSUITE™ makes it simple to facilitate their reuse in multiple Business Processes.

Managing Processes - Each Business Process takes advantage of reusable Process Functions designed to perform simple actions, and are assigned to individual business users and/or entire groups of users.
